We are proud to call So Cal our home, and we honor our love for craft beer by having a menu with carefully selected local brews that we think you’ll really enjoy. Our in-house craft beer experts have curated a list of 6 craft brews at Sammy’s that you should be excited about this summer.
Cali’ Creamin’ – Mother Earth Brewing Co.
This craft brew is the brilliant nexus between dessert and alcohol. Cali’ Creamin’ has prominent notes of sweet vanilla and decadent cream—so you can enjoy a beverage that indulges all of your favorite vices. This is an easy to drink cream ale that has a medium body with a malted, sweet finish.
Blonde Ale – Saint Archer Brewing Company
Enjoy the taste of an authentic, German-style Kölsch, stateside with Saint Archer Blonde Ale. Similar to a Pilsner, this Blonde Ale has a clean, crisp malt character with Noble hops from Germany. This beer is brewed with real Belgian yeast, coriander and fresh orange peel for a bouquet of well-balanced, delicious flavor.
Sin Tax Imperial Peanut Butter Stout – Mother Earth Brewing Co.
If you’re looking for an innovative craft beer to sip on this summer then Sin Tax Imperial PB Stout is a must-try. Prepare your taste buds for a roasted malt brew that tastes as delicious as it smells. This stout has all the makings of a perfect dessert: notes of vanilla, peanut butter, cream and a hint of coffee.
Hop Head Red – Green Flash Brewing Company
Are you ready for a beer-venture? If so, we highly recommend Hop Head Red by Green Flash. Hop Head Red is a double IPA and red ale hybrid with a seductive floral aroma and wildly alluring Amarillo hop flavors. This is a bold and unapologetic ale, that will have you coming back for more.
Nut Brown – Alesmith Brewing Company
Nut Brown by Alesmith has a complex flavor profile that culminates in a well-executed and balanced English-style ale. This brew has notes of cocoa, sweet cream, roasted nuts and brown sugar.
Pear Cider – Anthem
Triple IPAs with whisky-like ABVs are not for everyone. If you prefer an adult beverage that is easier on the palate, we recommend Pear Cider by Anthem. It’s a refreshing hard cider for those that aren’t into super hoppy brews. Anthem uses whole-pressed Bosc and Anjou pears to make one of the juiciest and tastiest hard ciders out there.
